I have had my eye on getting a new cassette player for quite some time, as I had reached a point a few years ago where I had none working in my house. Finally took the plunge this week and bought this FiiO and I am really happy with it! First listen is this SF59 cassette. Now, don’t get me started on how I feel about not being able to get a vinyl copy of this album...

Chevelle dropped a new album today, “Bright as Blasphemy”. While out driving around running errands, I decided to preview the first couple songs, and then liked them so much I listened to the full album! I was a huge Chevelle fan at the beginning, but then quite honestly lost track. Today’s release is actually their 10th full-length studio album!
I remember back in the late 90’s the first time I heard Chevelle, and then called an indie radio station and asked them to play “the band that sounds like Tool.”. I dug their debut “Point #1” and then really got into “Wonder What’s Next”, as the song-writing hit next level. This is the only Chevelle album I own on vinyl, and a great one.
